Here is a small selection of musical compositions that I have put together using various samples and digital instruments. In my production I am predominantly using Ableton Live to pull all the pieces together. I also incorporate the use of Propellerhead Reason and sometimes Digidesigns ProTools if needed. If you are interested to see a full description of my “Lab Tools” see: http://www.studio-way.com/the_studio_tools.html
Most of the selections listed below have been made or remixed with in the last few weeks. I have many more pieces to share some of which I have posted: http://conceptone.vox.com/library/audio/
Please enjoy the music and let me know what you think.
Thanks Ben

New Mix: Disco “X” With Me
This is one of my latest creations. The acappella sample is from an old LP off the shelf. B.G. – “X & Henne” 2000

Using a Numark TT-USB Turntable I captured the analogue audio from the LP. I then ported the sample into Ableton Live and cut it up into smaller parts. I tweaked the sound using various audio filters built in to Live. Then I created the instrumental portion from a combination of clip samples and audio loops and cuts. Each with their own placement for a creation of depth. Then with a simple arraignment of clips I record the composition live as it is being played. I select each part to be played like I am cutting from one record to another record. I have the capability to choose the path of play at will. Then using the product that was created I clean it up bring the rendered track back into Live to adjust the sound. And with my magic touch here it is.
